Meet the Creators
Timmy Travels is a heartwarming mother–daughter creation by Desiree and Ainsley Carter.
Desiree, a child behaviorist with a master’s degree in Child Development Psychology from Rollins College, brings her expertise in childhood learning and emotional development to every adventure Timmy takes.
Her daughter, Ainsley Carter, a real estate consultant with a degree in Mass Communication and Marketing from the University of South Florida, writes and illustrates the series—infusing each page with imagination, creativity, and a love of storytelling.
Together, Desiree and Ainsley created Timmy Travels to offer children a fun and educational way to explore the world—inspiring curiosity, empathy, and a lifelong love for learning about other cultures, people, and places.
